The Electronics Manager is responsible to supervise maintenance, troubleshooting & smooth execution of the engineering projects, oversee maintenance of production machines and plant equipment. Ability to manage the machine software, hardware, and other programs. Additionally, the position is responsible for the identification and rectification of electronics related machine faults, part failures in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

Supervise team to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.

Develop and oversee the implementation of the engineering strategy to ensure that expectations/targets are met.

Develop and oversee the implementation of all necessary systems and procedures to ensure that electronics process operates effectively.

Demonstrates ability to envision, energize, engage, and enable a team through role-modeling and execution of maintenance plans of preferably printing environment.

Demonstrates ability to develop & coach workers to generate and execute action plans that drive root cause elimination of losses and reduction of machine breakdown.

Act as a technical and operational resource, who can train, coach, and develop subordinates.

Design, inspect, test, and update electronic systems, components, equipment, and software.

Study, understand, and retain access to circuit diagrams of all machines with electronic control systems. Have the knowledge of computer hardware and software.

Study troubleshooting charts of serviced machines to ascertain reasons for machine downtime.

Determine safety stock levels of critical electronics components required often for maintenance and repair jobs.

Optimize investment in spares and components required for maintenance and upkeep of electronics equipment.

Keep abreast of technological advances in electronics engineering services for electronic controls installed in printing, numbering, packing machines and utilities plants.

Maintenance/repair of electronic cards/ equipment in stablished electronic laboratory.

Ensure all equipment and maintenance process flows are in line with health and safety regulations.

Commission research in the field of electrical to ensure that the organization implements policies and approaches that will improve electronics effectiveness.

Education:

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree (16 years) in Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineering from reputed university recognized by HEC.

In case the degree is obtained from a foreign university, the short-listed candidates shall be required to submit the equivalence certificate from Higher Education Commission (HEC) at the time of interview.

Maximum 35 years as on the last date of submission of application to PSPC.

Experience:

At least 5 years of relevant experience with minimum 2 years of experience in supervisory role.
