Manager Employee Relations is responsible to strengthen the employer-employee relationship through identifying and resolving workplace issues, about working conditions, allegations of discriminatory employment practices, investigating, resolving and mediating employee grievances.
Key Responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

Supervise team to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.

Develop and oversee the implementation of the employee relations strategy to ensure that employee expectations are met.

Develop and oversee the implementation of all necessary systems and procedures to ensure that employee relations process operates effectively.

Apply all necessary policies and procedures to promote effective communication between management and employees to encourage harmonious industrial relations.

Educate employees all personnel policies.

Support Management at disciplinary or grievance hearings, or in the event of collective disputes.

Attend court hearing as well as resolve legal issues of PSPC employees.

Ensure that grievance handling and disciplinary cases proceedings are carried out in line with PSPC policies and procedures.

Ensure that necessary measures are taken to resolve queries pertaining to employee grievances.

Ensure maintenance of records pertaining to legal matters and disciplinary cases.

Ensure the compliance of all applicable labor laws in PSPC.

Acts as a welfare officer of the Corporation.

Supervise separation cases, process clearances and forward cases to Finance & Accounts Department for final settlements.

Provide work guidance/training and problem-solving assistance for subordinates.

Commission research in the field of employee relations and change to ensure that the organization implements policies and approaches that will improve operational effectiveness.
Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree (16 years) in Law/ HR / Business / Public Administration from reputed university recognized by HEC. Candidate having Degree in Law (LLB / LLM) will be preferred.

In case the degree is obtained from a foreign university, the short-listed candidates shall be required to submit the equivalence certificate from Higher Education Commission (HEC) at the time of interview.
Maximum 50 years as on the last date of submission of application to PSPC.
At least 8 years of relevant experience with minimum 3 years of experience in supervisory (middle level) capacity.
