Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Pvt.) Limited (PSPC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the State Bank of Pakistan under Companies Act 2017, engaged in printing of banknotes and prize bonds. The Corporation is looking for dynamic, high-caliber, experienced professional to further strengthen its day-to-day operations to achieve its desired goals.
PSPC invites applications from high potential talented Pakistani / AJK nationals possessing requisite qualification and experience for the post of General Manager – Operations (on contract basis), as per the following criteria:
General Manager – Operations: (on contract basis)
The incumbent must possess strong leadership, management ,and decision-making skills, and capable of out-of-the-box thinking. The incumbent will be responsible to organize ,manage, and supervise production and engineering operations and activities along with utilities section of the factory to control defects and losses, following health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but are not limited to:
  1. Organize and administer smooth factory operations (engineering and production)to ensure achievement of production targets and quality benchmarks within the stipulated time period.
  2. Monitor and implement short and long-term plans pertaining to the factory,to ensure achievement of business objectives.
  3. Supervise engineering activities including periodic, preventive, and predictive maintenance of the machines.
  4. Maintain strong liaison with vendors, contractors, and suppliers of the factory and monitor their performance.
  5. Develop departmental budgets and carry out cost budget analysis as well as monitor spending levels by individual sections to prevent budget overruns.
  6. Identify abnormal production wastages and processes losses, identify root causes, and rectify the problem, as and when required.
  7. Execute and monitor results of special projects designed to; improve production processes, enhance quality, and reduce wastages.
  8. Oversee the smooth operation of facility management system including HVAC and power generation plants.
  9. Assist and support Director Operations in coordinating manufacturing operations ,enhancing production through plant upgrades, process improvements, wastage control, and enforcement of quality standards.
  10. Carry out any other tasks assigned by Director Operations.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
Bachelor’s / Master’s in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical/
Electronics/Electrical/Industrial Manufacturing) from a reputed university recognized by HEC with a valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration. In case the degree is obtained from a foreign university, the short-listed candidates shall be required to submit the equivalence certificate from Higher Education Commission (HEC) at the time of interview.
Age:
Maximum 65 years as on the last date of submission of application to PSPC.
Experience:
At least 15 years of experience in a manufacturing organization with minimum 7 years’ experience as Head of Operations or Production or Engineering in any reputable production industry. Sound knowledge of print production, print finishing processes, plant & machinery maintenance, HVAC, and power generation.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT:
  • A competitive compensation package will be offered as per Corporation’s policy.
  • The appointment will be made for 3 years on a contract basis, which is further extendable subject to performance and Corporation’s policies and service rules.

Deputy General Manager – Security (on contract basis):
The incumbent is responsible to develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards. Moreover, the incumbent is responsible for surveillance of the procedure for any deviations occurring in security of the Corporation and to respond on any security threats, internal or external. Key Responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
1. To plan & execute security plans, policies, and strategies of the Corporation round the clock.
2. To oversee internal and external security through watch & ward, access control, and CCTV systems.
3. To ensure the security and safety of all personnel, visitors, equipment, residents, and the premises.
4. To conduct security risk analysis along with development of security plans with changing environment / situation.
5. To conduct and facilitate KPID security audits and inspections.
6. To coordinate with law enforcement agencies for internal & external security of the Corporation.
7. To coordinate with logistic entities and railways to ensure timely deliveries of finished products across the country.
8. To prepare annual budget with justification and monitor expenditure against the approved budget.
9. To ensure that preparedness of firefighting arrangements to prevent any damage in case of fire incident and to train firefighting staff.
10. To review and report to the higher management on circumstances leading to security lapses and departures from prescribed security regulations.
11. To identify security gaps and report it to the higher management.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education:
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree (equivalent to 16 years) from HEC Recognized University.
Age:
Maximum 55 years as on the last date of submission of application.
Experience:
• The applicant should be retired armed forces personnel not below the rank of Lieutenant Colonel with exposure to intelligence operations and enforcement of security procedures in high-risk installations.
• The applicant must have at least 12 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a middle management position in a high security installation.
• The applicant must be medically fit as category “A”.
• The applicant must have prior experience of conducting and handling Security Audits.
